You are requested to carefully read the following Privacy Statement from Eleanor before providing personal information. A summary of the definitions can be found in the general terms and conditions.

Company Data

The domain names www.Eleanor.tech and associated subdomains hereafter referred to as the Platform is a part of Beste Mensen BV registered with the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam under number 67049303. Eleanor is an online platform that connects Freelancers and Clients.

Data Protection Act

Eleanor handles User data with care. Personal data is treated and secured carefully. Eleanor makes the greatest possible effort to comply but cannot always guarantee adherence. Users can request insight into their data at any time and at no cost, and they can modify or delete this data if desired.

Personal Data and Third Parties

Eleanor points out that when you forward your personal data to third parties, Eleanor is not responsible for the use of that data by those third parties. Therefore, Eleanor advises you to verify the identity of the third party to whom you send your personal data.

User Data

In the context of the services, Eleanor records User data in the Database. The data stored and the purposes for which this data is used are detailed in Appendix D. Unless specified in Appendix E, your data will not be provided to third parties. However, it is possible that Eleanor is required to provide certain data, for example to the police in the context of a criminal investigation. In such cases, Eleanor will only provide data if it is clear that it concerns a justified request from the party to whom the data must be provided. Eleanor uses your data for the execution of the Agreement. Furthermore, your data may be used to inform you about interesting offers of other products and services from Eleanor. Eleanor tries to take your preferences into account. If you do not wish to receive such information, you can report this to Eleanor via the settings in your Account.

Visitor Data and Cookies (Cookie Law)

To make this web Platform work properly, we sometimes have to place small files on your computer known as cookies. A cookie is a small text file that a web Platform stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit a Platform. This way, the web Platform remembers the pages you have visited and your preferences (such as username, language, font size, and other preferences) so that you do not have to re-enter those each time you visit the Platform. Most major web Platforms do this. By continuing to use this web Platform, you consent to cookies being stored on your device and to data being collected. Eleanor uses the information from these cookies solely for analyzing and improving the Platform and the services. Eleanor will not share this information with third parties. We measure how many visitors come to our web Platform using Google Analytics via cookies. Google Analytics tracks which pages you visit, how you arrived at them, and basic information about your computer. The information we collect helps us understand which parts of our web Platform perform well, how visitors land on the web Platform, etc. Like most web Platforms, we use this information to improve our web Platform for you.

You can always manage and/or delete cookies. You can read more about this at aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies on your computer and set your browser to block cookies. However, this means that you will have to set your preferences again at each visit and some parts of the web Platform may not function (properly).

At Eleanor, there are a number of “sharing/like” buttons from social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google). These buttons also store cookies related to their domain.

Links to Other Web Platforms

If you follow an external link that takes you away from our Platform to another Platform, you should realize that Eleanor no longer has control or influence over the content of that other web Platform. Therefore, Eleanor accepts no liability for that content, unless Eleanor was actually aware in advance that the content of that other web Platform was unlawful. In such cases, Eleanor will investigate that link and block it if necessary. The terms of use and privacy statements of such linked web Platforms may differ from the Terms of Use and Privacy Statement that apply to Eleanor's Platform. Eleanor advises you to read these as well so that you understand how they collect, use, and share information that pertains to you.

Data Security

Eleanor respects the privacy of every registered user and ensures that personal data is treated confidentially and with the utmost care. All personal data is securely stored in Eleanor's administration. This Database is accessible only to employees of Eleanor, as far as necessary for their roles. Eleanor will also take reasonable efforts to secure its systems against loss and/or any form of unlawful use and implements appropriate technical and organizational measures, taking into account the state of technology. However, Eleanor is not liable for loss of data, damage to files, unlawful access to computers or files, viruses spread via advertisements, or any other consequences of providing data to Eleanor.

General Terms and Conditions

Eleanor employs General Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all offers and Agreements with Eleanor as well as the use of the Platform. You can view, print, and download these terms via the link on the Platform. If you have questions about Eleanor's Privacy Policy, please contact the contact address specified on the Platform. Eleanor reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Statement. Therefore, regularly check the Platform for updates.

Appendix B. Disclaimer

This disclaimer applies to your use of the Platform www.Eleanor.tech (hereafter: the “Platform”). We recommend that you carefully read the information below.

Information and Communication

Eleanor takes the utmost care in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the information on its Platform. However, inaccuracies and omissions may occur. We therefore do not guarantee that (the content of) the Platform is complete and/or accurate. You accept that the Platform contains only the functionality and other properties as you find them on the Platform at the time of use (“as is basis”).

Eleanor is not liable for any form of damage resulting from the mention of incorrect and/or incomplete information.

Furthermore, Eleanor is not liable for any form of damage resulting from the use of the Platform or the inability to use the Platform due to interruptions and/or disruptions. Eleanor does not guarantee that emails sent or other electronic messages are received and processed in a timely manner, and we accept no liability for the consequences of not receiving or processing them on time. Eleanor is always entitled to modify the content of the Platform.

Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, database rights, trademark rights, and trade name rights, regarding (the content of) the Platform, including but not limited to the data, images, sounds, texts, databases, photos, software, brands, logos, and all other materials - including the combination(s) thereof, are owned by Eleanor or its licensors, except for content that you provide on the Platform yourself. Without prior written permission from Eleanor, you are not allowed to publicly disclose and/or reproduce the content of the Platform unless this is necessary for normal use of the Platform and/or is permitted by mandatory law. In addition, it is not allowed to (repeatedly and systematically) retrieve and reuse a (non-)substantial part of the Platform in the meaning of the Databases Act. References to third-party Platforms may contain information that originates from third parties and/or may refer to third-party Platforms (for example through a hyperlink, banner, or button). Eleanor has no control over this information and the content of these Platforms. Eleanor thus accepts no responsibility and/or liability for this information and the content of these Platforms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Your use of the Platform as well as this disclaimer is governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes arising from this disclaimer will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
