Company Data

The domain names www.eleanor.tech and linked subdomains hereafter referred to as the Platform are part of Beste Mensen BV registered at the Chamber of Commerce in Zaandam under the number 67049303. Eleanor, part of Beste Mensen, is an online platform where Freelancers and Clients are brought together.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Eleanor handles Users' data carefully. Personal data is treated and secured with caution. Eleanor makes the greatest possible effort to comply with the requirements prescribed by law regarding the protection of personal data. Users can access their data at any time free of charge, and adjust or delete this data if desired.

Personal Data and Third Parties

Eleanor points out that when you forward your personal data to third parties, Eleanor is not responsible for how these third parties use that data. Therefore, Eleanor advises you to verify the identity of the third party to whom you send your personal data.

User Data

Eleanor collects and manages user data as part of its service provision. Here are the main aspects regarding user data at Eleanor:

Data recorded for a Freelancer:

Profile Information: CV, profile photo, hourly rate, name and address details (name, address, city), availability, Chamber of Commerce, bank account/tax number, location, and tags can be added to a user's profile. These data can be supplemented by Eleanor or partners, with the user's consent.
Contact Information: These become visible to clients only after an initial contact has taken place.
Metadata: Eleanor may collect metadata such as device, browser, and location data to ensure security.

Data recorded for a Company:

Profile Information: Chamber of Commerce, name and address details (name, address, city), website, and tags can be added to a user's profile. These data can be supplemented by Eleanor or partners, with the user's consent.
Contact Information: These become visible to freelancers only after an initial contact has taken place.
Metadata: Eleanor may collect metadata such as device, browser, and location data to ensure security.

However, Eleanor may be obliged to provide certain data, for example to the police as part of a criminal investigation. In such cases, Eleanor will only provide data if it is clear that it concerns a legitimate request from the person the data must be provided to.

Eleanor uses your data for executing the Agreement and its services related to financial administration. Additionally, your data may be used to inform you about interesting offers of other products and services provided by Eleanor. Eleanor strives to take your preferences into account. If you do not wish this, you can notify Eleanor via the settings in your Account.

Visit Data and Cookies (Cookie Law)

To ensure this Platform works properly, small files called cookies sometimes need to be placed on your computer. A cookie is a small text file that a Platform stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit a Platform. This way, the Platform remembers the pages you visited and your preferences (like username, language, font size, and other preferences) so you don't have to fill them in again every time you visit the Platform. Eleanor respects the privacy of every registered user and ensures that personal data is treated confidentially and with the greatest possible care. All personal data is securely stored in Eleanor's administration. This Database is only accessible to Eleanor employees, insofar as necessary for their duties. Furthermore, Eleanor makes reasonable efforts to secure its systems against loss and/or unlawful use and implements appropriate technical and organizational measures for this purpose, taking into account the state of technology. However, Eleanor is not liable for data loss, file damage, unauthorized access to computers or files, viruses spread through advertisements, or any other consequence of providing data to Eleanor.

Eleanor applies Terms and Conditions. These conditions apply to all offers and Agreements with Eleanor as well as the use of the Platform. Additionally, it is not allowed to request and reuse a (non-)substantial part of the Platform (repeatedly and systematically) in the way meant by the Database Act. Law and Jurisdiction

Profile Information: Chamber of Commerce number, address details (name, address, city), website, and tags can be added to a user’s profile. These data can be supplemented by Eleanor or its partners, subject to user approval.
Contact Information: This becomes visible to freelancers only after first contact has occurred.
Metadata: Eleanor may collect metadata such as device, browser, and location data to ensure security.

However, it may be that Eleanor is required to provide certain data, for example to the police within the scope of an investigation. Eleanor will only provide data in these cases if it is clear that it is a legitimate request from the person to whom the data is to be provided.

Eleanor uses your data for the implementation of the Agreement and its services regarding financial administration. Furthermore, your data can be used to inform you about interesting offers from other products and services of Eleanor. Eleanor tries to take your preferences into account. If you do not wish this, you can inform Eleanor through the settings in your Account.
